Restoration of all exterior and interior finishes.
River City Restorations was chosen by the National
Park Service to undertake the comprehensive renovation
& restoration of this national historic landmark.
Structural work included tripling the load rating of the
frame. Mechanical work included state of the art
humidity control for the unusual requirement of museum
artifacts and visitor tours. Over 10,000 pieces of exterior
millwork were removed and catologed on computer
drawings and replaced after conservation of wood and
restoration of finishes.
